The Niuean congregation is currently led by Rev Kon-Tiki Makani. It’s life as part of the triumvirate of PIPC Newton is reflected in the life of its Ministers as follows: Reverend Elisi Sionetali (served from the early 60s to late 1977); Reverend Lagaua Talagi (served from 1978 to 1996); Reverend Manatoa Tavelia (served from 1998 to 2001); Reverend Kontiki Makani (served from 2002 to the present).

- 60 plus Group and Women’s Handicraft Group (fortnightly)
- Holy Communion to the community. Administers to Elderly members and to those that cannot attend Sunday Services for various reasons.
Worship was redefined with the arrival of Covid 19 in 2020. Services online…. At the present time all services have resumed to that of pre Covid times – as of Easter Friday, April 2022. The Niuean congregation is represented by all 13 villages of Niue Island. This is a unique feature of the congregation of the Niuean community of faith in PIPC Newton. Moving forward the Niuean congregation will continue to build on its strength with God as the foundation. While challenged by various factors in a changing environment including the appeal to attract more young people – the congregation of the Niuean people remain steadfast in its faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ.
